DALA SPARKLING WATER

Packaging Design

This series of sparkling water cans was designed to exhibit Swedish culture. Inspired by folk art, the cans display hand illustrated versions of Scandinavian rosemaling patterns and kurbits paintings. The name ‘Dala’ comes from the tradition of wood

carved Dala horses. This tradition has become synonymous with Swedish culture and is extremely popular amongst tourists. The drink flavors are displayed in Swedish below the illustrations and include plum, pear, cherry, and strawberry.
